I’m finally live in Nov 2019! 🙂
My name is Denike, pronounced as day-nee-keh or better still call me Sisi. I am a self-taught freelance makeup artist. I’ve always loved makeup but my interest was piqued as a teenager when I would sit and watch my cousin spend hours applying makeup, from then to my high school days when I accidentally shaved off my entire brows, to my college days when friends would ask me to carve their brows in class, to the many days I spent perfecting my skills on my sister.
I took the craft seriously in October of 2014 (yeah! I remember because it is my birth month and I was working a job I hated) and I haven’t looked back ever since…actually, I’ve looked back many times and quitted twice as many but hey, this remains my first love, can’t see myself ever not doing makeup!
I do runway, bridal, fashion/catwalk, advertorial, training, prom, avant-garde, and party looks. My work has been featured by brands like Kanekalon on her runway and product packaging, Caliber hair imports, and media platforms.
A little about my favorites; I love Path Magrath lipsticks and everything about the brand, I would love to collaborate, Mac powders and lipsticks are my go-tos every time, my Inglot #77 is hands down the GOAT blackest black eyeliner, LA Girl Glide liner is my best for the waterline, Denassa Myricks Glow veil is the bomb and Lancome probably has the best range of mascaras out there!
I am now located in the city of Bowie, Maryland.
